Pie was amazing but chips were horrible all scrap hard ends

Chips scabby yet again, a lot thrown away. Pie collapsed and hard around edges. Bread roll under chips flat and greasy, should be wrapped separately. Gravy rather runny too. Curry sauce was good and so was the burger.

Fantastic. I was visiting my mum and thought I'd treat her to a fish & chip supper. I've never eaten here, but always liked the look of the place - very traditional, it looked like it had been there a long time, which tells you a lot. I wasn't dissapointed, by a long way the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Crispy batter, not thick or greasy, and sweet chunks of cod that flaked off beautifully. Great value too. I'll be treating her when I visit again for sure!

Fish was very wet which made the fish taste fishy, I mean extremely fishy. Also the batter was soggy. Worst it’s ever been. However, the curry is very tasty, the burgers are a good size and value for money. Chips still have a lot of hard bits, which spoils it.
